The original Nusa Dua surf spot on Bali’s east-coast reef — searched and ridden as Geger in its own right, with Geger Right and Geger Left as the main named peaks. Part of the wider Nusa Dua reef belt (Sri Lanka and other sections nearby), and a wet-season favourite when Bukit trades go onshore.
Strong intermediates can handle softer Geger windows; both sides step up on solid swell and lower tides. Confirm Right vs Left with local boat or club guidance.
Shallow live coral on both Right and Left, Boat and club traffic, Often mis-labelled simply as “Nusa Dua” on maps. Respect the pecking order and give way to locals who surf here daily. See our surf etiquette guide →
